Where is the Prince Henry Centre located?
The Prince Henry Centre is located at 2 Coast Hospital Rd, Little Bay, Sydney.
Do I need to set up and pack down the event?
Yes, as a dry hire venue, we are the perfect blank canvas. In most cases, your selected caterer will be responsible for the setup and pack down of your event.
What types of events can be hosted at the Prince Henry Centre?
We host all sorts of events, excluding teen and 21st birthdays. Please contact the team to discuss your requirements.
How can I secure the venue?
Once we receive your completed application form and full payment of the bond, the date is all yours!
Do I need to clean the venue?
Yes, the venue must be returned in a clean and reasonable state, generally completed by the caterer during pack down of your event.
When do I need to finalise payment by?
We require full payment of hire fees 28 days prior to your event.
How can I pay for the venue?
Once we have received your application, payment can be made over the phone, via BPAY, or direct deposit.
How much is venue hire?
Every event is unique. Our team would love to assist with a personalised quote; please email the team at [email protected].
Do we pay a bond?
Yes, a bond is required as a security deposit to cover any potential damages. The bond ensures that the venue is returned in the same condition it was provided. If no issues are found after your event, the bond is fully refunded.
Can I drop items off the day before and pick up after the event?
All requirements are to be completed on the day of your event, within your set hours of hire.
What are the loading dock measurements?
Our loading dock measures 3.5 meters wide by 3.2 meters high.
Do you provide tableware, cutlery, and glassware for catering?
No, catering and alcoholic beverage arrangements must be sourced externally.
Do you provide tables and chairs?
Yes, your hire includes the use of 14 round tables (180cm diameter), 25 trestle tables (150cm h x 75cm w), 15 cocktail tables (60cm diameter x 105cm tall), and up to 220 chairs.
What does the kitchen include?
The kitchen includes a fridge (1400 Litre), freezer, ice machine, dishwasher, combi oven, 6 burner gas stove, and hot box.
Can I bring my own caterer?
Yes, you can bring your own caterer.
Can I serve alcohol?
Yes, alcohol can be served under your caterer’s license.
Do you have noise restrictions?
We ask that all loud activities end by 11:00 pm.
Is there AV equipment available?
Yes, the venue is equipped with basic audio-visual equipment, including data projectors and microphones.
What is the cancellation policy?
Upon application, please refer to our terms and conditions of cancellation.
What are the key features of the Prince Henry Centre?
The centre offers multiple function rooms, a commercial kitchen, basic in-house audio-visual equipment, private dressing rooms, free parking including 30 undercover spaces. The venue is also fully air-conditioned and accessible for individuals with disabilities.
